I have come to accept that what I really like is to have Shen Yuan or SY!Shen Qingqiu be huffily ridiculous and, by his own devising or that of the System/plot, be forced into humiliating recognition of his own denial and/or previously unknown desires; even better if he then has to subsequently self-actualize and seek their satisfaction, kicking and screaming, blushing and sputtering. This can range from ho-hum comphet to as wildly complicated gender and sexuality tangles as you can devise!

I love System wifeplots and I love Luo Binghe being smart and tricky and conniving (but with a heart of gold). If included, I like Liu Qingge to be uncompromising in his morality but ruthlessly practical. I love SVSSS deeply for the ability to have the System set up some horrible Situation that is expressly designed to torment SQQ, because that's just canon. The more exasperated he is about its ridiculousness, the better.

Crossovers are fine as long as they're with a canon that's completely inappropriate and nonsensical (no other MXTX canons, please); bring in as many anachronisms or Airplane's misunderstandings of how things work as you can.

I am at heart a basic bitch, and want if not a happy ending, at least one with a strong thread of hope. Can have smut or no smut; gen is fine. LOVE humor!

DNW: while I'm tentatively interested in Luo Bing-ge, provided he behaves himself, I'm still not interested at all in OG Shen Jiu or SJ!SQQ and prefer he not appear.
